Change Management

It’s time to make the critical shift from leading the business by yourself to leading an organization of people. At P2Excellence, we help you navigate the uncharted territories of organizational growth with clarity and confidence.

As we continue to move through this crisis – through this pandemic. The changes have been so profound that I need to remind myself that on March 8th I was entertaining friends at home, making United Way of Greater Atlanta Shoeboxes for their annual personal care collection. Every year, ordinary folks like me, and companies, too, create and fill boxes that are then distributed to agencies and homeless shelters. I never imagined that a couple weeks later I would be worried about the basic health and welfare of the whole world.

Years ago I learned a very fundamental change management diagram:

Denial, Resistance, Exploration and Acceptance.

What I know now is that it isn’t “one cycle”; it is many. So I may be exploring how to teach on-line and resisting the idea that my vacation will be cancelled. When I get stuck, I ask myself where I am on the curve. It helps. Another thing that helps is helping others. Thank goodness for United Way of Greater Atlanta (or if you aren’t in Atlanta, thank goodness for your local or regional United Way). Check them out. Contribute. And pass this email along to friends. Ask them to contribute, too. This is a way to make a difference utilizing an organization that is used to navigating through complex problems.

The coronavirus is negatively impacting every facet of our community. Partner with us today to support those in need. Connect with United Way of Greater Atlanta today at this LINK , and also connect with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta at this LINK .

And remember 211 , the number on your phone where you will find United Way always geared up to help with immediate issues and concerns.

Lastly, let me know if I can be helpful to you in these troubling times.

Take Care, Nancy
